In April 2019, a major technology and managed services provider reached out to Com-Strat to determine if they could assist with a complex project. The firm needed to replace their 10-year-old (OSS) Operational Support System, which served as a primary records database and was the repository for critical information about provisioned network services, infrastructure and key client assets.
The organization felt they needed expert consulting assistance to bridge their knowledge gap in terms of best practices, the evolution of OSS technology and help in developing an RFx to support procurement of a new system.
