The Telecommunications Service Priority (TSP) is a program sponsored by the U.S. Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). It authorizes national security and emergency preparedness (NS/EP) organizations to receive priority treatment for vital voice and data circuits or other telecommunications services.
Many public sector entities qualify for prioritization in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. If your organization qualifies to secure a TSP assignment it ensures that you will receive priority attention by your service vendors before any non-TSP service request.
Communication Strategies has worked with public sector clients to secure TSP assignment. Our experience and documentation process in this area can help expedite the application and approval process.
Typical critical services covered under a TSP assignment include:
- Internet service provider (ISP) including SIP services.
- Wired line services (PRI, alarm circuits, etc.).
- Wide area network (WAN) services.
- Cellular service (Different application process than TSP).
